This weekend, 2017, MLO SCL Champion Matjaz Belsak from Slovenia grabbed his first win for the new season in Abu Dhabi. Well-rested and refreshed, Matjaz quickly made it clear he is determined to set the bar high not only for himself but also for his opponents. Speed, power, drive - Belsak definitely is turning these traits into his athletic signature. Otherwise, the pleasant surprise in this event was Mohammad Ezatpour from Iran, who was so close to stealing the silver medal from Dainis "The Titan" Zageris - one of the most prominent and decorated strongmen in the last few years.
